O2 Forum Kentish Town is one of north-west London’s finest live entertainment venues. Formally known as the London Forum, this former art deco cinema is now a 2,300 capacity venue owned by AMG which hosts up-and-coming acts and established artists alike. The O2 Forum Kentish Town was originally built in 1934, acting as an art deco cinema until it was turned into a bingo hall then a dance hall in the 1970s. By the 1980s the venue was renamed the Town and Country Club and transformed into a must-play venue on the indie music circuit, attracting cult bands like The Velvet Underground, Pixies, and The Wedding Present. Renamed the London Forum in 1993, the O2 Forum was refurbished and expanded before it was acquired by Live Nation in 2015, becoming part of the Academy Music Group. It now attracts world-renowned artists such as Jack White, Rihanna and Justin Timberlake while also hosting regular club nights.
