The HiFi Club is a nightclub and live music venue based in the heart of Leeds city centre, just opposite the city’s Corn Exchange. Proudly independent, the HiFi Club specialises in giving people music to dance to, hosting regular DJ-led and live music nights spanning soul, funk, hiphop, reggae and disco.
The basement club is also famous for its Saturday night comedy sessions, which started in 2001 and have since become Yorkshire’s longest running independent comedy night. The night has a high pedigree, with Jason Manford, Russell Howard and John Bishop just a few of the celebrated comedians to have graced the HiFi’s stage.
The HiFi Club’s diverse offering has made it as popular with plaudits as it is with audiences – its quality music and scrappy charm have led the club to be regularly decorated at the annual Leeds Bar & Club Awards, winning both the ‘Best Nightclub’ and ‘Best Live Music Venue’ categories three times.
