Starting out with a spectacular and show-stopping circus performance in 1886, the Olympia has swapped elephants, horses and acrobats to become one of London’s leading event space, exhibition hall and conference centres. Olympia still brings all the top shows to West Kensington, such as the Great British Beer Festival, London Film and Comic Con and the BBC Good Food Show. It was first the National Agricultural Hall, built by Andrew Handyside and spread across 4 acres. It now comprises the Olympia National, Olympia Grand, Olympia Central, Olympia West, Olympia Conference Centre, Pillar Hall, and Apex Room. Each area is well equipped and interlaced practically to allow for events of all kinds and size to take place at the venue. Visitors can still enjoy its grand Victorian architecture balanced by modern and state-of-the-art facilities. Olympia hosts over 200 events every year, which means there’s likely to be something for everyone’s interests. Whether it’s a fashion show from London Fashion Week, a meet-and-greet with some of the biggest TV and movie stars at the local Film and Comic Con, or learning about international health projects at summits, there’s is a wide range of top events going on year-round.
