See The Twilight Zone at the Ambassadors Theatre

Prepare to enter the Twilight Zone… This stage adaptation of the iconic 1960s CBS television series has landed at the Ambassador’s Theatre after it enjoyed a sell-out run at the Almeida Theatre. Pick up your tickets for The Twilight Zone right here at TickX. Adapted by Anna Washburn (Mr Burns: A Post-Electric Play), and directed by the Olivier Award-winning director Richard Jones (Into The Woods), this production aims to take audiences on a journey into the deep unknown, through eight stories that twist your perception of reality. Fantastically combining genres such as mystery, fantasy, science fiction and horror, The Twilight Zone promises at the very least to be unsettling and unpredictable. Expect the extraordinary - here the impossible is probable. The brainchild of Rod Sterling, who presented and wrote many of the show’s episodes, The Twilight Zone ran for five seasons on CBS between 1959 and 1964. Each episode told a unique story of people dealing with unusual and often disturbing circumstances. The show was a pop culture phenomenon, spawning endless catchphrases, featuring a wide array of guest stars and helping to launch the TV and film careers of many up-and-coming actors in its day. Charles Bronson, Robert Duvall, Dennis Hopper, Leonard Nimoy and William Shatner were just a few of the actors to star in episodes of the Twilight Zone, with the final two of course making their names in the original Star Trek series later in the 1960s. Don’t miss your chance to pick up The Twilight Zone tickets, have your mind blown, and maybe catch the stage stars of the future.
