Biography
In 2012 four friends bonded over their mutual love for British rock musicians like the Who and the Jam, and came together to form their own band, The Spitfires. Taken from vocalist and guitarist Billy Sullivan’s love of aircrafts, The Spitfires have released two albums, their debut ‘Response’, and the follow up album ‘A Thousand Times’, who’s single ‘So Long’ hit #1 on the UK Vinyl Singles Chart. Sullivan, Sam Long (guitar), Matt Johnson (drums) and Christ Chanell (keyboards) are back with their powerful lyrics and social commentary with their latest singles ‘Move On’ and ‘Stick To Your Guns’.
