About

The longest running stage play in the world, Agatha Christie's classic murder mystery drama The Mousetrap has been keeping West End audiences guessing for over 60 years. The Mousetrap tickets are available now right here at TickX. Celebrating its diamond anniversary back in 2012, The Mousetrap is not just a classic; the supremely entertaining murder mystery play is a West End institution and its stupendous success has made it a fundamental part of the experience of visiting London. St. Martin's Theatre has been the Mousetrap's London home since 1974, having started life on the West End at the smaller Ambassadors Theatre in 1952. Although the play has now been running for decades, audiences still haven't figured out whodunnit by now, making this a murder that's been investigated more than any other! Watch as Detective Sergeant Trotter tries to get to the bottom of poor Maureen Lyon's murder at the guest house the Monkswell Manor during the dead of winter. The original West End cast featured Richard Attenborough as Det. Sgt. Trotter, and his wife Sheila Sim as the guest house's co-owner Mollie Ralston. Since then, the cast is now changed each year at the time of its anniversary, making it a good gig for many up-and-coming actors. After over 25,000 performances, The Mousetrap shows no signs of leaving the West End yet. Neither does the clock on the mantelpiece of the fireplace in the main hall - the one prop that remains from the Mousetrap's original 1952 production. Head along to St. Martin's Theatre today to enjoy this classic murder mystery tale, or catch it whenever it's on tour near you. Wherever you wander into The Mousetrap, make sure to keep the murderer's identity secret! Don't delay - you can pick up The Mousetrap tickets right here at TickX now.
