The hit musical film ‘School of Rock’ has made its way to the stage, with a show that would really make Jack Black proud. Dewey Finn is teaching another line of students to break out of their private school box, sneaking his way into the school by posing as his roommate.
Andrew Lloyd Webber has brought the rock and romance to the West End, with riffs and energetic performances turning these kids into a guitar shredding, bass-slapping, mind blowing rock band. Truly these kids steal the show, with many of them learning to play their character’s instruments within mere weeks – often having their instruments be taller than them!
Gary Trainor and Florence Andrews do an amazing job at portraying these star-crossed teachers, each wanting to take the kids in a different direction. Ultimately however the music wins out, as they awaken the empowering message of rock. Make sure you don’t miss attendance, and find all dates & tickets below!
