Show Biography

Having already won over 85 international awards, including 16 for best musical, the hit film and Roald Dahl book Matilda has been reimagined by writer Dennis Kelly and composer & lyricist Tim Minchin.

This musical is a wonderful watch not just for kids, but for the kids at heart. Let this talented singing and dancing cast transport you back to your childhood as they tell the story of a young girl, begrudgingly raised by her less than enthusiastic parents. Constantly with her head in a book or dreaming up her own fantastical tales, Matilda meets a teacher who finally appreciates the greatness within her, and unites her classmates together against the unfair regime of a cruel headmistress.

Matilda is a miracle child, an amazingly intelligent young girl portrayed wonderfully by four incredibly talented young girls. Matilda’s character requires a maturity beyond her years, and all of these fantastic actresses pull it off remarkably.

Matilda the Musical currently holds more Olivier awards than any other, solidifying it as one of the most acclaimed West End productions of all time, so don’t miss out on this magical experience and book tickets now!
