Marylebone Rd, Marylebone, London NW1 5LR, UK
In 1835 the legendary wax sculptor Marie Tussaud had opened a small museum on Baker Street in London, with her main attraction being the Chamber of Horrors where she exhibited victims of the French Revolution and murderers or criminals. Although she passed away in 1850, her legacy continued on and the museum boomed, prompting a her grandson Joseph Randall to move the museum into its current location on Marylebone Road. Since then it has gone onto become one of the major tourist attractions in London, also expanding into more countries around the world.
