Lucy Rose

Biography

Lucy Rose is back this year with her third studio album, ‘Something’s Changing’. The singer-songwriter first began her journey with music at a young age when she played drums for her school’s orchestra and writing songs at home on the family piano. After buying a guitar on a whim on the way to school, Rose started writing music more earnestly, but it wasn’t until she moved away to London and met Jack Steadman, the frontman of Bombay Bicycle Club. He convinced her to sing backing vocals on some of their tracks, and eventually, she began recording her own album in 2012. By May of that year she had signed with Columbia Records, and released her album ‘Like I Used To’ in September. Several of her songs made their way onto TV, with “Don’t You Worry” appearing on ‘Skins’, ‘Be Alright’ featuring in ‘The Vampire Diaries’, and ‘Night Bus’ playing in an episode of the MTV reality show ‘Catfish: The TV Show’.
