Known to be the world's oldest scientific zoo, London Zoo has been open since 1828 originally used as a collection for study. In the 1830's animals from the Tower of London menagerie were transferred to the zoo, and by 1847 it had officially opened to the public.
Since then the zoo has become an iconic part of London, having also opened the first Reptile House, public Aquarium, Insect House and children's zoo.
Now it covers nearly every part of the animal kingdom, from the 'Land of the Lions' to the Giants of the Galapagos and the Blackburn Pavilion - you can see it all. Find & compare all things to do at the London Zoo below to get the cheapest prices available!
