Known for it’s outrageous, stunt-show wrestling, ICW is one of the biggest promotions in the current British Wrestling (BritWres) Revolution. Their show, Fear and Loathing IX at the 13,000-seat SSE Hydro in Glasgow was the largest attendance for the British Wrestling show in over thirty years.
Founded by Mark Dallas in Glasgow, they now tour extensively across the UK, Europe and the USA and were even the subject of a BBC Documentary in 2014. Many current WWE, NXT and Impact Wrestling Stars such as Aleister Black, Killian Dain, Nikki Cross and Grado got their start in ICW and they have also welcomed huge international stars such as Finn Balor and Kurt Angle as guests.
With their hardcore style and adult content, it’s important to note that ICW shows are open to over-18s only, but their mix of talented wrestlers, very Scottish humour and fan interaction make the ICW experience accessible for anyone who loved wrestling in the heyday of ECW and the Attitude Era in the 1990s and a must-see for anyone who is a fan of British Wrestling today.
