Since opening in 2017, the musical has several awards under its belt and five Olivier Award-nominations. Tickets are selling fast to Everybody’s Taking About Jamie, thanks to its stunning dramatisation of Jamie’s true life story. As a typical sixteen year old growing up on a council estate, Jamie New doesn’t quite fit in anywhere. Despite bullying, Jamie has big aspirations and an even bigger secret to share. With the support of his family and friends, Jamie overcomes strong adversary and chases after his dream. The show exposes his challenges, relationships and above all his inner strength. Everybody’s Talking About Jamie premiered at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield, where it won two UK Theatre Awards. Following the rave reviews, the musical now runs in London’s West End, where it scooped four WhatsOnStage awards.
