After making the documentary with Firecracker Films, theatre director Jonathan Butterell wanted to transform the narrative into a stage show. Everybody’s Talking About Jamie premiered at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield, where it won two UK Theatre Awards. Following the rave reviews, the musical now runs in London’s West End, where it scooped four WhatsOnStage awards.
