Since 2003, Paul Rose better known to the world as techno maverick Scuba and his Hotflush imprint have shaped the direction of the electronic scene's bass-heavy landscape more than most. He has released four albums, two EP's and a handful of compilation and mix albums.
Martyn found his start in 2006 when he released "Cloud Convention / Believe It". Now he has established himself in music, coming back in 2015 with "Block the Box".
More than a decade into his storied career, Paul Rose aka Scuba is one of the most vital figures in electronic music. It remains that way thanks to his constant musical evolutions and always contrary perspectives. They range from visceral bass and techno affairs to jubilant main room offerings and, more recently, take in a return to more percussive, increasingly introspective sounds. Inspired by the futuristic and melodic aspects of Detroit and Chicago, Martyn’s music also floats through UK bass and garage offshoots and the ambient fringes of house and techno. Having won Mixmag's DJ competition, Effy has gone on to support the likes of Peggy Gou, Artwork, Helena Hauff, Dusky and Honey Dijon. She is topped as one of the hottest rising underground talents and is known for her mix of deep tech and acid melodies.
