In just three years, Dublin native Dermot Kennedy went from starting off his musical journey to selling out venues in London and having over 19 million streams on Spotify. His first headline show was at a packed out Unitarian Church in Dublin, and he has supported acts like Glen Hansard and James Vincent McMorrow on tour.
Earlier in 2017, Kennedy release his ‘Doves & Ravens’ EP, a darker take on his usual folk music, with hints of electronic. He’s been writing with Charlie Hugall, known for his work with Swim Deep and Florence & the Machine), as well as working with Stephen Kozmeniuk who has worked music for Kendrick Lamar and Dua Lipa. Kennedy’s previous releases include ‘After Rain’ and ‘Shelter’.
