Brothers Osborne

Biography

The Maryland brothers first hit the country scene in 2013 with their single ‘Let’s Go There’, which marked the first of three consecutive songs in the Top 40 on Country Airplay. Their two albums, ‘Pawn Shop’ and ‘Port Saint Joe’, were released under label EMI Nashville, reflecting the group’s range of sounds inspired by old school country and alternative music. Vocalist TJ and guitarist John began their musical journey at home, where the Osborne household opened its doors to local towns folk at the weekend for a series of jam sessions. As teenagers they played in a band named Deuce & a Quarter, which spun out covers of Lynyrd Skynryd, Bob Seger and various other artists. However, their childhood consisted of much encouragement for writing and playing their own material, which ultimately paved the way for their career as singer-songwriters. The brothers moved to Nashville in the 2000s, signing with the EMI branch and continuing their career to secure a number of nominations and awards, such as the 2016 Country Music Association Awards for Vocal Duo of the Year, the 2017 CMT Music Awards for Duo Video of the Year, and the 2018 Grammy Awards for Best Country Duo/Group Performance with ‘It Ain’t My Fault’. They also have a number of nationwide and international tours to their name, and announced their first headline tour in 2018.
