If you’re yet to figure out what you’re doing that weekend, we’ve put together a list of some of the best Halloween events Manchester is throwing, so get your costumes on, it’s time to get spooky.
Hidden are renowned for throwing some of the best parties Manchester has, and on Friday 27th October they’re making things creepy with Deekline, Serial Killaz, Benny Page, Kenny Ken and the Ragga Twins. Douse yourself in fake blood and get ready to kick off your Halloween the right way.

A festival like no other, the Bowlers Exhibition Centre will be rolling out Chapter 2: ‘Limbo’. After their debut show sold out to over 50’000 guests, they’re returning bigger and better than ever as they navigate into the afterlife. Expect humongous carnival floats and processions, acrobats and live performers, character, costumes, lights, confetti and even professional skull face painting to get you into the theme. The festivities begin on Friday 27th October from 9pm until 3am!

The Manchester Academy always knows how to throw a good night, so this year you can count on them to make your Halloween extra special with four distinct arenas to keep your night electric. In the Saw Showcase Hip-Hop, Grime and Bass will be slicing and dicing away, with the Prison Cells digging up the icons of the past in Disco and Funk. Rave in the Dungeons will bashing away on bone-filled drums with an assortment of Reggae and Dub, as house and techno fill The Haunted House to the rafters!

In 1992, on October 31st, the world was shocked when the BBC aired the most sinister, terrifying, blood-curdling show many had any seen. Within one hour of the first broadcast they had already logged 30’000 calls, leading to a decade long ban.
The genius’ behind the show are coming to visit Gorilla on Monday 30th to spread their frightful cheer and give a look behind the curtains of a show that scarred a nation. If you haven’t seen it already, don’t worry, they’ll be screening the first episode as well.

Now if anywhere is going to throw the Halloween party of the month, it’s Satans Hollow. Already kitted out to be Manchester’s scariest venue the whole year round (and their only dedicated rock venue), you can be sure that Satans will have the best costumes, the best Halloween decorations and the cheapest drink deals in the city. Best costume will be up for the £250 grand prize, as well as tonnes of prizes and giveaways for the runners-up, you don’t want to miss out…
