twenty one pilots have announced UK and Ireland tour dates

It's actually happening! twenty one pilots are back!

After months of teasing fans in typical twenty one pilots mysterious fashion, suspicions were correct when fans around the world were sent an email titled "ARE YOU STILL SLEEPING?" last Friday with a gif of an opening eye. A couple days later their social media saw another gif being posted, this time set to music and with the eye opened even further to begin the reveal of the new era of top: Bandito and ||-//.

Murmurings had been drifting around Twitter that a song would drop on Thursday 12th July, so when not one but two new songs dropped on their YouTube channel on Wednesday fans were sent into absolute disarray. Not only that, but two kids from Ohio decided to hit the skeleton clique with a triad of announcements yesterday, throwing the new album release date and a world tour at us almost imminently.

The new album Trench is due out October 5th, with Josh Dun and Tyler Joseph already having released the first single Jumpsuit and its accompanying video, as well as Nico and The Niners, an audio only track uploaded to their channel and available now across streaming services. The new Bandito era sees the band's transition into yellow following the hints dropped in their 2016 track Heathens (and not to mention Josh's hair colour last year) that saw them break away from the traditional red that accented the Blurryface era.

Alongside the new album, twenty one pilots have announced a slew of dates across the world and are ready to kick off Bandito on October 16th in Nashville Texas, covering the US before they move into Australia and New Zealand in December and Europe early next year.

The UK and Ireland leg of the tour is due to hit British shores on the 27nd February at the Genting Arena, Birmingham, moving on to Dublin, Belfast, Glasgow, Manchester and London, finishing off with a trip around Paris, Amsterdam, Brussels, Bilbao, Madrid and Lisbon. Those are all the dates announced so far, but if twenty one pilots follow the tradition of the Emotional Roadshow, we can sure to have several more parts of the tour announce over the coming years.

Tickets for the tour will go on general sale from July 20th at 10:00am, so make sure to follow twenty one pilots here to get updated on all the coming info surrounding tickets, tours and show announcements! Then, you'll be able to find & compare all ticket sellers in one place to get the cheapest tickets available.
