Al Murray: 'Let's Go Backwards Together'

2016 was surprising in SO many ways. Maybe not the biggest shocker, but lets face it, still up there, was that Al Murray went head to head with Nigel Farage for a seat in South Thanet with his FUKP party. Well from the ballots back to the bar, Al Murray’s infamous The Pub Landlord is back. His comical success has crowned him a legend of British stand-up observational comedy and a firm favourite in our eyes.

‘Let’s Go Backwards Together’ is Al Murray’s current tour which will be kicking off in February. In his brand new show, The Pub Landlord embarks on a common sense campaign to re-Great Britain. Never short of an opinion on all things topical, expect some (many) jokes on the Brexit fall-out. Satirical in style and with a singalong for all, of course there will be the classic gags about boobs, and an even more fuelled up Pub Landlord adapting to topical issues across the UK.

Educated at Oxford and born in Buckinghamshire, Al Murray has once again shaved off his hair and beard to fully embrace the persona of that notorious patriotic publican. Some aren’t quite sure where the line between comedian and his smash hit character is, but their views in fact differ drastically, with Al Murray himself wanting to build an air raid shelter to protect himself from the events of 2016. One certainty however, is that Al Murray is one of the most consistently hilarious stand-ups of his generation. Find cheap tickets here while you still can…
